When I entered the kitchen this morning for breakfast I was greeted with an empty plastic container (that used to be filled to the top with diced pineapple) and a loaf of sliced, homemade whole-wheat bread.

I'm not surprised Kathy finished the entire container of pineapple. My wife makes the best bread ever.

I wish the weekend would come sooner, I just want family time and movies.

Work is such a pain.

But I'm not the only one staring for hours on a computer screen.

My wife is doing the same thing, except instead of seeing complicated graphs and figures, she sees a bunch of people shooting guns and clashing on the battlefield. If only I had the time to watch Chinese dramas.

My life sucks.

Couldn't sleep well last night for some reason.

Woke up this morning feeling like absolute shit.

Went to school feeling like absolute shit.

Then there was the math test which I flunked.

I don't know why, but as soon as I left the classroom my eyes got blurry.

And I was praying to God, please please please don't let me cry.

But then this guy came up to me and asked me if I was ok.

And I just broke down.

Completely.

I guess it was my body's way of saying:

"No, I'm not okay. F--- off."

Then I spent the half the lunch hour bawling my eyes out into the guy's shoulders.

I spent the other half other lunch hour doing my socials homework.

During socials I was completely drained out.

And I nearly fell onto the floor during applied skills cause I was so tired.

On the bus on the way home

some big kid with glasses accidentally knocked into me,

And I was in such a bad mood I shoved him onto another person's lap.

I didn't even say sorry.

Got home, ranted about my math test to my parents.

They said I spend less time fooling around on my computer

and spend more time putting effort into my education.

So I deleted my Tumblr.
It was one of the hardest things I've ever done.

That's like you without Google, or without your camera.

I want to do better, I want to make my parents proud.

They say they just want me to try my best

and that they have all this "confidence" in me

and its "okay" if I don't get into a world famous university

and that I shouldn't be so "stressed out" so soon.

But I want to make them proud, I really do.

And above all, I want to make myself proud, which is the real challenge.

I've never been satisfied with myself, and probably never will.

But if I don't change that then I'll continue living with a negative attitude.

Today I went to Gladstone Secondary for the volleyball game.

I used it for my self-directed transit journey.

Starting location: CHURCHILL SECONDARY (7055 Heather Street)

Ending location: GLADSTONE SECONDARY (4105 Gladstone Street)

Directions: Take 17th down to King Edward Avenue, take 25th to Nanaimo Station. Walk up Vanness St.

THE JOURNEY:

1) 3:07, school's dismissed. heading back to LE LOCKER to put my crap away. kerby comes up and asks me if she can bus with me to Gladstone. God answered my prayers, i will no longer be alone on this dangerous journey.

2) 3:20, after chilling a bit at school, we walk on oak to 49th, and go to tim hortons. kerby gets a cafe mocha and a boston creme donut, i get a delicious extra large coffee. i nearly cried when i got to the bottom of the cup.

3) 3:50 we take the 17th bus down to king edward, and start waiting at the bus stop there. but then we realize we have an hour until we have to be at gladstone, and it was FREEZING outside, so we decided to go screw around at safeway and camwhore with the sausages and the baguettes.

4) 4:20 i freakin love safeway. anyway, got onto the 25th bus, on our way to nanaimo station

5) 4:40 WTF WHY DID IT TAKE 20 MINUTES TO GET TO NANAIMO STATION. spent another 5 minutes trying to find vanness street. took another 5 minutes for us to realize it was in front of us the whole time. keep in mind that its already dark as hell outside, and we couldnt see the street names. not our fault.

6) 4:53 ffffff we gonna be late. oh and we're lost, good times, good times. found a daycare OH THOSE CHILDREN WERE SO CUTE and asked them where gladstone was. the kids just stared at us with huge horrified eyes. luckily the staff were still there, they told us gladstone was just up the hill.

7) 5:00 WOOT AT THE MAIN ENTRANCE, WE GOT THERE ON TIME.

The journey was a success. (:

oh ya and my daddy came to pick me up at 7 so i wouldn't have to bus home :P

And the only way I'll be able to participate is if I transfer to PW,
just for that one year.
But then I also want to do pre-IB.

I have less than a month to decide.

This blog is dedicated to Jamie Hubley.

15 year old Ottawa teen who took his own life this week.

He loved figure skating, performing, and singing.

Most of all, he loved other people.

But they never loved him back.
Instead they spat hate at him, bullied him, laughed at him, hurt him.

Why?

Cause he was the only openly gay boy at his school.

He spent the last years of his life in misery and depression.

No one understood him.

No one heard him.

No one helped him.

It's news like this that completely breaks my heart.

Honestly, magazines and online articles need to stop posting shit about celebrities.

This is so much more important than the dress Angelina Jolie wore on the red carpet,

or Britney Spear's hot bikini body,

or the secretive relationship between so and so.

Bullying needs to stop. It should be a crime.

I can't stress it enough.

IT NEEDS TO STOP.

It's the leading cause of teen suicide.

Yesterday was probably the best day of the school year so far.
Started off with PE (which I love).
Then there was an earthquake drill during French class so I didn't have to spend an hour and a half getting bored out of my skin.
Then another entire period of staring into my English teacher's beautiful eyes.
Then there was Science class, where I screwed around with licorice and marshmallows.
AND THEN THE VOLLEYBALL GAME AGAINST TUPPER!

That wasn't the best part.
Afterwards, Jo Fi Dhir Kev Andy and I went to PNE Fright Night.
We spent 5 hours there screaming our asses off.
When we lined up for the Hollywood Horrors attraction there was a really strong smell of weed.
I think I got high off of it, cause I completely lost my mind and started crying inside the haunted house.
LOL and then a guy with a chainsaw popped out of the window.
Andy was in the front of the line and he was like FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU

I really miss my teachers from last year.

I never really realized how much until now.

I miss the way Ms. Greskiw made us laugh while she joked - and sometimes made us jump out of our skins when she snapped.

I miss the way Ms. Smedley always taught us in the most exciting and creative manner possible (I'll never forget the time she rapped to Eminem - much respect for her).

Volleyball tryouts took place today after school.

I wanted to tryout for manager, because I'm in PE Leadership and I need to get my service hours completed.

Manager doesn't play or anything.

Which is good, because my volleyball skills are a little less than professional.

The manager basically helps out at the practices and games.

However, you still have to do the normal volleyball tryouts even if your aiming for the manager position.

So basically I embarrassed myself in front of everybody today.

Oh, cruel cruel world.

And I was already exhausted from PE in the morning.

An hour of PE plus an hour of tryouts plus an hour of goofing off in my ex-dance class.

That adds up to three hours of exercising my butt until it fell off. Literally.

Had to stitch it back on afterwards.

I bet I'm not even going to know how to walk tomorrow.

If I make it in as manager it would be a miracle, because there were three other girls trying out for the spot as well.

I was the worst out of all of them.

Check to see that all my school stuff are in my backpack.
Go to school.

Going to start a fresh blog for the new school year.
Guess I'll just start off with a post about my summer.

I spent those two months in China, where the streets are filled with steamed buns and shoes on sale.
There are those who carry Louis Vuitton bags and those who lie on the street without an arm or a penny.
The scenery is beautiful and twisted.
That blue sky eating in the smoke that rises up, coughing and sneezing wind.
The scorching sun shows no mercy, having been hid for half a year behind rain clouds.
By the end of the day I have four layers of sunscreen on and a sweat-soaked outfit.
Roads are littered with bicycles and motorcycles buzzing around like bees, leaving a trail of dust behind them.

My goal for the summer was to lose weight.
I couldn't tell whether I achieved it or not because when I stepped on my weight scale again it broke.
This is not a good sign.
But with all the stress that's included the Grade 9 torture package, I might lose a couple of pounds.
We'll see.
